Mild Fever That Disappears Appears Accompanied By Canker Sores?
Hello. I have 2 canker sores in the mouth, then 5 days later the canker has recovered but it is still scarred, and then suddenly I experience strep throat, when the strep throat, my mild fever disappeared appears. 4 days later my throat no longer hurts when I swallow but the low fever still appears, especially before dawn and morning before dawn, sometimes when the mild fever appears I tremble like hunger, insomnia, and shoulder pain until sometimes the palms are numb . 2 of my sprays they will also still not completely disappear. What do you think this disease is? Thank you very much.
Fever is an increase in body temperature above normal (> 37.5oC). Fever can occur in conditions of infection due to viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi. Symptoms of fever accompanied by mouth ulcers can be found in the following diseases:
Hand foot mouth disease (more often in children)
Herpangina (Coxsackie virus infection)
Fungal infections (Candida)
Symptoms of viral, bacterial, fungal infections in the mouth can generally also infect the larynx. Infection in these areas will cause an inflammatory reaction which is the body's immune response. Local symptoms that can arise due to inflammation are swollen mucosa inside the mouth or larynx, redness, and pain. Systemic symptoms that can arise are fever, body weakness, decreased appetite, headaches, diarrhea, and many more depending on the type of infection.
Some types of infections do not require special treatment and can recover after a few days because of a good immune response. Some patients and types of disease require additional drugs such as antiviral, antibiotic, or antifungal to reduce existing infections. Therefore, you should see a doctor if the fever does not go down and your symptoms do not improve after 2-3 days.
Try to get enough rest. Drink more water and eat foods with balanced nutrition. Avoid drinks or foods that are too hot because it will aggravate canker sores. Brush your teeth twice a day using a toothbrush with soft bristles and use mouthwash without alcohol if necessary to maintain oral hygiene. Thus the explanation from me, hopefully useful.
