Hello doc. Since the last 2 days I have felt fatigue, mild fever and pain in the joints, but there are no symptoms of coughing or shortness of breath. Are corona docks included?

1 Answer:

Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com

Corona virus infection called COVID-19 disease will show symptoms of fever and dry cough in most people. Shortness of breath is a symptom that is only experienced by people who have severe infections, usually found in people who are elderly and have comorbidities. Other symptoms such as fatigue and joint pain can be found too, but less frequently.

At this time, people suspected of being infected with the corona virus and need further testing are people who have clear exposure to this virus. Exposure can be a history of traveling to an infected country within the past 14 days, contact with people who have a history of traveling to an infected country, or people who have tested positive for COVID-19. If you have a clear history of exposure, then you should immediately call 119 ext 9 to find out further examination flow.

Seeing the symptoms that you have, the actual possibility of you getting COVID-19 is quite small. However, for the safety of yourself and your family, you are still advised to stay at home and not leave the house if there is no urgent need. Some other things to note include:

Avoid going to crowded and crowded places if indeed you are forced to get out of the house, and avoid using public transportation Avoid direct contact with others (such as shaking hands), and keep a safe distance with others (minimum 1.8-2 meters) Wash your hands using soap often, wash hands for at least 20 seconds. If there is no handwashing area available, use a hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol. Masks are only recommended for use by people who are sick, if you are not sick, do not use masks or stack masks at home because it will reduce the supply of existing masks (people who need it just can't get masks). Maintain health and endurance by sleeping and getting enough rest, eating and drinking enough, exercising enough, and avoiding smoking.
