Milk Is Good For Nursing Mothers?
Hello, I am a breastfeeding woman but I like dancow milk, may I drink dancow milk? Does it not affect my baby?
Hello Byun, thanks for asking.
Basically, you may drink any type of milk, as long as you do not have lactose intolerance or are allergic to one of cow's milk proteins. The protein you get from the milk you drink will be absorbed by the intestine and taken to the muscles to repair muscles damaged by activity. Some of the protein absorbed by the intestine will be brought to the liver to be stored or processed into carbohydrates and fats which are then used as energy reserves.
Milk protein absorbed by the intestine will not be sent directly to breast milk. But must pass through the processing first by the liver, converted into various forms of amino acids. These amino acids are then re-formed into proteins by body cells, including to form breast milk proteins. Therefore, please consume your favorite milk, as long as you do not have digestive problems.
Hopefully this answer can help. Regards.
