, I injected KB for 1 month, my last period was on January 3rd and the date of my injection coincided. I have to come back tomorrow on January 31st, but I haven’t had my period until now. Am I pregnant?

1 Answer:

Hello Rosa,

Thanks for the question. KB injection is a method of contraception to prevent pregnancy. KB injections consist of 3 months KB injections and 1 month KB injections. Birth control injections contain artificial reproductive hormones that have several effects to prevent pregnancy, depending on the type of injection used. When you use a one-month birth control injection, you will usually still get your period at the end of your menstrual cycle. You should continue to use the injection according to the schedule regardless of whether or not you have had your period at the end of your menstrual cycle. It is recommended that you receive the injection in the first 5 days of your period if it is your first time having the injection. But if you just continue to inject KB, then please do the KB injection according to the schedule regardless of whether you are menstruating or not.

Chances are you haven't had your period because of the side effects of birth control injections. Birth control injections can cause menstrual disorders, one of which is not menstruating.

Please consult an obstetrician and gynecologist if you have doubts about the contraceptive method you choose.

I hope this helps.
