Mixing Sunblock With A Doctor’s Cream?
Hello, I’m 18 years old, I’m using a doctor’s cream for acne, because I often go out during the day so I need sunblock, but the doctor who treats me doesn’t want to tell the content of the morning cream and I can’t use sunscreen, can I use a sunscreen Solar itself specifically for acne prone skin after using a cream doctor? Because I’m afraid the skin will become streaked 🙁
How long have you been treating with a doctor's cream for acne? At the beginning of acne treatment sometimes doctors do not recommend the use of sunscreen, this is likely because the sunscreen is feared to clog pores and make the skin more oily so that acne treatment becomes less effective.
Although there are non-comedogenic sunscreens, but I still recommend that you follow the advice of the doctor who treats you first and do regular control according to the schedule given. doctor's cream is used and it is feared that there are ingredients that should not be used simultaneously.
Generally after your acne condition improves, your doctor can adjust the content of your cream and your doctor can start prescribing non-comedogenic sunscreens and can be used together with your face cream.
For the time being, you can avoid sun exposure by not doing much outside the house in the morning. If you have to travel, use a mask, umbrella or hat to help reduce sun exposure.
Hope it helps you,
