Move The Doctor When Controlling Braces?
if I go for braces control at a regular dentist who is not installing my braces do I have to provide another dental x-ray? And if the bracket is loose, can a normal dentist install or should I go to ortho? My current position is in a different city from the dentist who used to deal with me.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically when your teeth are braced, your dentist makes his own calculations on how to straighten and straighten your teeth. Therefore, control should be carried out at the same dentist who paired your braces (because each dentist's calculation can vary). However, if indeed you just want to install / fix a broken bracket, you can do it at another dentist (if the conditions are not possible for you to go to your dentist normally). You don't need dental x-rays to control this other dentist. This other dentist is most likely not going to intervene in a tooth pulling (installing a rubber pull), it will only fix your bracket.
However, you still have to call in advance and ask if the dentist provides braces (not all dentists provide this service) and whether the doctor is willing to fix only the brackets (not braces from the start). If indeed the doctor is willing, then you can go to the dentist.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
