Movement Of The Fetus At 23 Weeks Is Not Fast?
Hello, I want to ask when I was 20 weeks pregnant, the baby kicks tight and feels great, but in 23 weeks to 24 weeks the baby’s movements are not that fast, but the movements are still there but not so fast like just hiccups, is that normal ??
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, the movement of the new fetus will be really strong and can be felt or even seen on the surface of the abdomen when the pregnancy has reached 28 weeks. Therefore, if your pregnancy is still 24 weeks old, fetal movements that only feel like hiccups are normal. At this gestational age the fetus's movements are also not yet stable to be felt, so it's quite normal if one day you can feel a movement that is strong enough, then on another day you only feel light movements or even feel no movement at all. This does not necessarily indicate a certain danger in pregnancy and your fetus.
Make sure you do regular pregnancy checks at your midwife or obstetrician. If you have been doing checks to the midwife, still do an obstetrician's examination to have an ultrasound pregnancy at least 2 times during your pregnancy (recommended in the first and third trimesters). You should also consume your pregnancy vitamins regularly to ensure adequate nutrition for you and your baby in your womb.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
