Mucous Sores Make Shortness Of Breath
Morning doc, I am a 25 year old man feeling there is mucus in the lower throat because it causes a bit of shortness of breath. Why is this doc? Thank you
Hello Hendrik, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
A slimy throat complaint can be caused by various causes. In some conditions complaints can be accompanied by other complaints such as fever, shortness of breath, pressure pain, and so on.
Some conditions that cause your complaint include:
Changing weather conditions
Viral infections such as cough and flu
Consumption of food is too spicy
Exposure to certain chemicals
Irritation due to cigarette smoke, vehicle smoke, cigarettes, to reflux stomach acid
Side effects of certain drugs such as high blood pressure (antihypertensive) drugs, and so on
To find out the cause of course must be examined directly, starting from a physical examination and other additional checks required such as blood tests, chest X-ray images, and so on.
For now, all you can do is:
Eat healthy and nutritious foods, avoid foods that are too spicy, too sweet, and oily
Drink warm water
Keep the humidity around you
Get enough rest
Bathing with warm water can help
If complaints continue to be felt or even aggravate immediately consult a doctor so that further examination and treatment can be done.
So, hopefully useful.
