Nails Peel From Flesh Or Skin?
Hello. I want to ask you about my nails which don’t stick to the flesh half of my pinky finger, for a few days I let it be because I was afraid of bleeding / infection. But it just widened, not sticking the meat. I ask that friend, the reason is nail polish, which touches the skin when we use nail polish, may I help explain it? And will my nails return to normal? Thank you ..
Nails that are detached in part or in full from the underlying tissue, are generally caused by nail death. When the nail dies, the nail is separated from the tissue underneath. Nail death may be caused for example by:
Injury (for example, pinched by a door or something).
Irritation due to certain chemicals (for example due to the use of certain products on the nails).
Dead nails can be detached by themselves or if there are fears of infection, a nail extraction can be done by a doctor. After the dead nails come loose, new nails will grow from the base of the nails. You have to keep the nails from getting dirty, to avoid infection. If then there is an infection, then you should see a doctor.
Hopefully this answer can help. Regards.
