Nails Turn Yellow?
the mission would like to ask if I have changed my nail color to orange why is that? then if I want to see a doctor I must check through which specialist doctor?
Hello Herar, Thank you for the question.
Any changes in the nails (for example, shape or color) can indicate a certain medical condition but, of course, this condition must be confirmed by a doctor's examination. Nails that turn yellow / orange can be caused by the following conditions:
fungal infections of nails, thyroid disease, lung disease, diabetes, psoriasis If this complaint has been going on for some time, you can consult a dermatologist first. The doctor will do an examination to find out the cause and provide further treatment. However, if your doctor believes this condition is not caused by a fungal infection or psoriasis on the nails, you can consult a specialist in internal medicine for further examination. The doctor may suggest blood tests or other tests to find the cause before determining the next treatment step.
Hopefully this information helps you.
