Nasal Congestion And Sore Throat After A Konka Cutting Operation?
Good night doctor … I just got home from the hospital, after my Konka cutting operation … is it really a recovery process that should be clogged like a cold huh … Throat is inflamed … it hurts … the nose is clogged when in warm water vapor is safe yes … but if it is cleaned like an irrigated nasal, I certainly won’t dare … it will definitely bleed.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, after surgery Konka reduction is very normal if you experience symptoms such as pain in the nose, appendicitis, and bleeding a little from the nose. You will feel a clogged nose when the doctor puts a nasal splint in your nasal cavity. These appendicitis symptoms will decrease considerably after the nasal splint is removed, usually 1 week after surgery.
During the first 2-3 weeks after surgery, you should avoid doing physical activity that is too heavy. You also should not blow your nose too hard. If you feel your nose dry after surgery, you may rinse your nose with saline liquid / spray, but don't spray it too hard. It's not much to do but wait for the symptoms of your clogged nose to subside on its own. Take control of your ENT doctor according to the schedule given. If you experience significant amount of bleeding from the nose and do not stop, you should immediately go to your ENT doctor for further treatment.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
