Nausea, Vomiting Stops Before The First Trimester Is Over, Is It Dangerous?
I was just 10 weeks pregnant, the initial vomiting was severe, suddenly stopped just like that, is that okay?
Hello Suzysuji, Thank you for the question.
Nausea and vomiting are common symptoms in the first trimester of pregnancy. This symptom is caused by:
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) hormone production
increased levels of the hormone estrogen
the smell is more sensitive to certain scents
increased psychological stress
urinary tract infections
Nausea will usually peak in the 9th week and begin to subside towards the end of the first trimester. If you suddenly do not experience nausea and vomiting, there is nothing you need to worry about because in general this complaint will begin to subside and this condition does not indicate a particular health problem in your pregnancy. As long as the obstetrician doesn't find a problem with the examination, there's nothing to worry about with your pregnancy.
Please do the following suggestions:
keep consuming foods with balanced nutrition
make sure you consume food that is well-processed, clean, and cooked
if you feel nauseous, you can try to keep eating small portions but more often
light exercise regularly
do pelvic floor muscles (Kegel exercises)
consumption of supplements recommended by doctors
get enough rest
check the health of your pregnancy at the obstetrician according to the recommended schedule
I hope this helps.
