Nausea When Going To The Dentist?
I want to ask, every time I go to the dentist, why do I always have nausea and vomiting when the object ”the doctor came in to check my teeth? It was only for a while that I opened my mouth when the doctor’s object approached I immediately wanted to vomit. Even though I wanted to have a stirrup because of my uneven teeth. Is there any way you can avoid vomiting ”during dental work?
The complaints that you experience nausea can be caused by psychological factors, namely a suggestion to your subconscious that the action that the dentist will take will make you nauseous. So that when the dentist was about to do an examination, the sensation of wanting to vomit suddenly appeared. However, this condition can also be caused by the increase in your stomach acid due to stomach ulcers which makes you feel nauseous, or because you have a balance disorder such as vertigo which makes you feel nauseous.
Ask yourself, have you had any traumatic experiences with the dentist in the past? Or do you have your own thoughts about a dentist so you always feel "insecure" which is manifested by nausea every time you go to the dentist.
