No Menstruation After A Prolonged Period?
Good evening, sorry I want to ask last February I had my period from 2 to 19 February just finished when my period was heavy and I kept checking and I was given tranexamic drugs. So what I want to ask is why until April I haven’t had my period yet, right? Is that normal or is it because I have pco that causes it like that?rnThanks in advance….
Good afternoon, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. Irregular periods can be caused by many things, including:
Stress, anxiety, fear, panic, tension Excess weight or obesity Too low body weight Excessive activity or exercise Hormonal disorders Medical diseases of the female organs such as cysts
So it's true, the PCO (polycystic ovary) condition that you have can have an effect on your menstrual irregularities, but you also have to pay attention to there are many other factors that play a role. So you should adopt a healthy lifestyle by staying away from cigarette smoke and stress, sleeping and resting regularly, not forcing the body, and increasing the consumption of vegetables and fruit. If your complaints persist or get worse, don't hesitate to consult a gynecologist. I hope you and your family are always healthy.
That's all, hope it helps.
