No Menstruation And Not Pregnant?
. I was supposed to have my period around 29-30 but until now on the 2nd I haven’t had my period. 2 months ago, my period was 1 week late. This month I tested the pack and the results were negative. What do you think is the problem?
Thanks for the question. Late menstruation is closely related to the occurrence of pregnancy. However, apart from pregnancy, missed periods can also be caused by other conditions. Reproductive hormones are hormones that regulate the menstrual cycle. The existence of hormonal disorders can cause a woman to experience delays in menstruation. Some of the causes, for example:
excessive physical activity leading to fatigue, strict diet, drastic weight change, obesity, being underweight, experiencing a disease (causing physical stress on the body) thyroid hormone disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome. Please continue to wait for your period while following these recommendations:
manage mental stress well avoid excessive physical activity but you can exercise regularly avoid strict diets consume lots of nutritious food The test pack you take may be too fast so that it still gives a negative result (if you are indeed pregnant). Usually a testpack is recommended if you experience a delay of at least 1 week of menstruation. You can repeat the test pack one week later if you haven't had your period during that time. Or, you can consult an obstetrician and gynecologist for further examination.
