No Menstruation In The Long Run?
.. I think I am currently 26 years old. I was diagnosed by a doctor in March yesterday suffering from TB LEARNING even I had surgery to remove a lump on my neck. But after surgery and taking TB drugs for 6 months my menstruation so it was not smooth. Even in July I did a second operation on my ring because I had a bone infection. After that even now I haven’t had my period for almost 7 months. What if it’s like that? Are there any other diseases or because I consume too much TB medicine ?? thanks
Good evening, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. We understand your concern. The condition that you experience with not having menstruated, can occur because it is caused by several things, including:
Side effects of hormonal contraception
Thyroid hormone disorders
Female hormonal disorders
Hormone-producing hormone in the body
Drug side effects
Our advice, you should check with your obstetrician because what you experience is not necessarily related to your disease history. It could be caused by something else and to be sure, a direct examination is needed. The results of this direct examination will be the basis for determining the best treatment for you.
Meanwhile, there is no need to worry too much, live a healthy lifestyle by maintaining an ideal body weight, regular exercise according to ability, multiply the consumption of fruits and vegetables, adequate fluid needs, avoid consuming drugs or herbs without doctor's advice, and check yourself immediately. So, hopefully answering your question.
