Noise In The Neck Area?
Hello. I occasionally hear the hiss in my neck as if being eaten away by something. It sounds like an iron screech. It does not hurt and is quite rare, if it happens then it is always at night. Thank you
In the nape of the neck, bones, joints and connective tissue are adapted. The presence of sounds in the neck area can be associated with bones, joints, and connective tissue in the neck, associated with the ear, or with psychological conditions.
When moving, air bubbles in the joint space can be released and make noise and this is generally not dangerous. However, sounds or sounds in the neck area can also be caused by the following conditions:
Inflammation of the spine Shifting the joints of the spine Decreased elasticity of the cushions between the spine Tinnitus (ears such as hearing a ringing sound or other additional sounds) Hallucinations of hearing, where there really isn't any sound but feel a certain sound For a while you can try doing the following steps this is yes:
Get enough rest Try not to stay up Do relaxation Manage stress well Listen to soft sounds when in a very quiet room Do not make sudden neck movements Use a comfortable pillow If with the steps above you feel the noise on the back of the neck more often and begin to bother you, You should consult a doctor directly so that further tests can be done to ascertain your condition. If necessary the doctor can do a supporting test with a CT scan, MRI, and blood test to help make the diagnosis. Further treatment will be given by a doctor by considering the results of your examination.
Hope it helps you,
