Normal Fetal Heart Rate At 7 Months Of Gestation?
sorry I want to ask, yesterday I checked my baby’s development routine at the puskesmas. My baby’s heart rate is 130 / minute, my pregnancy age is 28 week 4d. Is this normal? Because when I checked earlier at 24 weeks of pregnancy, my fetal heart rate was 138 / minute. I want to ask if this is normal? My baby has decreased his heart rate within a month. Please answer, thank you in advance
Hello Eva, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
Normal fetal heart rate (FHR) ranges from 120-160 beats per minute. The greater the gestational age, the lower the FHR. Approaching the time of delivery, the FHR averages 130 beats per minute. However, as long as it is within the normal range above, FHR can still be said to be normal.
FHR is like an adult's heart rate, it can also vary within 1 day or even within 1 hour. Variations can occur, for example, when the baby is sleeping, you eat, you are active, it can also be affected by the food you eat, and so on.
As long as your baby's FHR is within the above normal ranges, you don't need to worry too much. To know clearly the condition of the baby in your womb, you can do an ultrasound examination at the Gynecologist. This ultrasound examination is important to do to detect the presence or absence of certain abnormalities in the baby, the condition of the amniotic fluid, the condition of the placenta, the condition of your uterus and cervix, and others.
So much information from me, hopefully it will be enough to answer
