Normal Liver Function But Hepatitis B Positive?
Hello. R nDok I want to ask the month of February yesterday I checked the blood was diagnosed with Hepatitis B but there was no mention of HGSag, etc., it just showed normal liver function. How does that mean doctor. I haven’t checked yet. Thank you
Hepatitis B is an inflammation of the liver due to infection from the hepatitis B virus (HBV). To diagnose this disease, the doctor needs to conduct an in-depth interview regarding the patient's complaints. In addition, the doctor will perform a physical examination to see if there are signs of hepatitis such as fever, abdominal pain, enlarged liver size to yellowish skin color or sclera. To support the diagnosis, doctors need to confirm through blood checks to determine whether there are antigens and antibodies related to hepatitis B virus infection and also liver function.
You should need to confirm again to the doctor who treats you, regarding the diagnosis of hepatitis B and what further tests you need to do.
so hopefully useful
