Normal Values for Leukocyte Levels?
, I want to ask for the normal number of leukocyte count blood test types (LYM, MID, GRAN) how much is that? For the 2.930 leukocytes, including low or normal?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
The following are the normal values for leukocyte count:
Stem Neutrophils: 0-10%
Neutrophil segment: 51-67%
The figures above can vary by laboratory but the range will usually not be much different. Therefore if you want to read laboratory results, you should always refer to the normal values listed by the laboratory.
Leukocytes normally number 4500-11000 leukocytes per microliter. If the number of leukocytes is 2930 per microliter, it means that the number of leukocytes is low. Causes of low leukocytes (or called leukopenia) can vary, including:
cancer or therapy for cancer
and much more
We recommend that you bring back the results of the laboratory examination to the doctor who requested an examination so that further analysis of the results of the interpretation can be done.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
