Normal Weight Gain For 8 Months Pregnant Women?
After this, I went to the midwife to control my midwife. My weight is now 53 while I am 8 months pregnant. The midwife said I have to eat a lot, drink ice and drink sweet, sweet things so that the baby is not small when the baby is born. Is my weight abnormal for a mother who is 8 months pregnant? Please explain
Hi, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com.
One of the things that must be considered during pregnancy is weight gain (BB). Weight gain target during pregnancy is different for each person and each trimester of pregnancy. This weight gain depends on weight before pregnancy and Body Mass Index (BMI). BMI is calculated based on body weight (in kg) divided by height (in cm) squared. You can read and see a full example here.
Weight gain in the first trimester is in the range of 0.5-2 kg before pregnancy. After that, the NB will increase every week, ranging from 0.18-0.59kg, depending on the BMI. The higher the BMI, the lower the weight gain.
You can calculate your own weight gain that must be achieved at the current gestational age. If you are confused, please create a new topic including height (TB), weight before pregnancy, current weight and gestational age (in weeks).
So, hopefully you can help.
