Normally The Chapter Frequency Is 5 Year Olds?
Morning, my child is 5 years and 5 months, in a few days the chapters can be up to 4 or 5 times a day, but not liquid. I always give banana sunpride so that the immune system and potassium are maintained, is that good? And is it okay if I give lacto b so that the chapter returns to normal (once a day)? If you may be given lacto b, what is the recommended dose, because the chapter is not liquid?
Hello. Thank you for the question submitted to HealthReplies.com. We can understand the concern you feel.
Basically, it is difficult to say the normal frequency of bowel movements (BAB) because this can vary greatly between people. Based on the results of a study published in Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology in 2010, data obtained that 98% of study subjects had a frequency of bowel movements ranging from 3 times per day to 3 times per week. It's just that everyone can have their own bowel movement routines that make each person defecate with a certain frequency and usually at certain times that are almost the same.
There are a number of factors that affect a person's bowel movements, including:
Fluid intake; the less fluid intake, the lower the frequency of bowel movements so that it can become constipated / constipated
Age; the older, the less frequent frequency of bowel movements due to slowing of the intestine and the possibility of taking certain drugs in old age
Activity; the more active daily activities, can help the intestines work so as to increase the frequency of bowel movements
Dietary habit; if fiber consumption increases, the frequency of bowel movements can be more frequent
History of illness and treatment; gastrointestinal disorders (example: infection, inflammation, or lactose intolerance) can make bowel movements more often
Hormonal; some women CHAPTER more often towards the beginning and end of the menstrual period because of changes in levels of progesterone and estrogen in the body
Social factors; some people can defecate less frequently because they have difficulty defecating if in a public place, while working, or when with other people
If the frequency of bowel movements that you experience is indeed a habit that has been happening all along with soft consistency and the usual appearance of stool, of course it is not a significant problem. However, you are advised to check with your doctor if you have 1-2 weeks or more of frequency of defecating more than 3 times a day or changes in bowel patterns that are different from usual accompanied by the consistency of liquid stool, accompanied by phlegm / blood / no odor delicious stinging, abdominal pain, blood / black vomiting, black stool, or weight loss and fever.
The product you mentioned is a branded probiotic that is useful to protect the digestive system with and help reduce digestive disorders (eg diarrhea, constipation). Basically, the use of such products is not really necessary if you can implement a healthy lifestyle that includes: eating nutritionally balanced foods (including fiber) regularly, drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, and regular physical activity.
