Tonight doc .. my age is now 30 years old When I got married at the age of 22 years 2 months later I am not menstruating until now !! After checking in some of the doctors he said I had a hormone problem “less hormone” said the doctor !! Had been given medicine and had the chance to menstruate but only just spotted !! Please enlighten me so I can get my period again … 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for the question.
Most often, not menstruating for years, is caused by hormonal disorders. This condition can be many possible triggers, ranging from stress, fatigue, obesity, unhealthy lifestyles, extreme diets, side effects of drugs, contraceptive effects, thyroid gland disorders, pituitary gland disorders, breastfeeding, perimenopause, and so on. In addition to hormonal disorders, not menstruation until a long time can also indicate other medical disorders, for example ovarian cysts, scarring in the uterus (for example post surgery or pelvic inflammation), and so on.
If it is true that your complaint arises due to hormonal disorders, it should not be enough to handle this condition simply by taking a doctor's medication alone. You need to also balance this doctor's treatment with lifestyle modifications, such as:
Maintain your ideal body weight
Regularly exercise at least 30 minutes every day
Don't stress too much or think too much
Eat lots of vegetables, whole grains, fruits, water, and reduce the habit of eating instant foods and preservatives
Enough and regular sleep, reduce excessive physical activity
Stay away from alcohol, cigarettes, and do not carelessly take drugs or herbs
Hormone disorders that trigger menstrual abnormalities are complex conditions, so the treatment must be comprehensive and cannot be instantaneous. If you have been disciplined to undergo treatment, doctors also do the above suggestions, but your period still does not come until more than 3 months, we recommend that you check yourself again to the doctor or obstetrician. Ultrasound examinations, hormone tests, thyroid function prints, or other supporting tests can be done by a doctor to be able to give you the best treatment advice. If you are married and intend to have a baby, then the right pregnancy program can also be directed by a doctor.
Hope this helps ...
