Wa alaikumsalam, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Normal urination in each person has a different level of frequency. However, each person normally urinate 6-7 times per 24 hours. If the person drinks more fluids or consumes caffeine such as tea and coffee, or takes certain drugs, the frequency can be more frequent and still considered normal. The medical term when the numbers are far above normal is polyuria.
In your case, assuming that you are reducing your fluid intake and not taking certain medications regularly, the possibilities are:
Diabetes insipidus, despite its similar names, has nothing to do with diabetes, and occurs due to hormonal disorders
Type 1 diabetes, or diabetes
Urinary tract structural abnormalities
Urinary tract infection
Psychological disorders such as anxiety and psychogenic polydipsia
So that further examination is needed to be able to determine your condition, whether it is caused by neurological disorders, hormonal disorders, or infections and the like. Our advice, check your condition with a neurologist first to do further tests regarding your nerve function, because the dripping urine is feared to be associated with nerve function failure. Your doctor may later ask for investigations such as an MRI to make a diagnosis and determine treatment. If your neurologist does not find any abnormalities, then you can ask for guidance on what doctor to see next from the results of the examination.
Meanwhile, there is not much you can do to deal with this condition independently. Try to reduce salt consumption and drink less, and immediately consult a neurologist. Get well soon.
That's all, hope it helps.
