Hello Mrs. Kusyanti,
Lower abdominal pain in pregnant women is usually normal, especially if the stomach has started to grow. An enlarged fetus can put pressure on the organs in the abdomen and pelvis. Pressure can occur on the muscles, joints and blood vessels in the pelvic area which can cause pain.
The larger the fetus, the larger the uterus and cause stretching of the ligaments. These stretched ligaments can also cause pain. Excessive gas in the stomach, digestive tract disorders, pressure on the bladder may also cause pain.
Generally, the pain that occurs is not dangerous. However, if the pain occurs continuously so that you cannot move, the pain is getting worse, the pain that occurs regularly is accompanied by a feeling of tightness (contractions), accompanied by discharge of mucus and blood from the vagina, or discharge of amniotic fluid, you should immediately go to the emergency room.
