Often Pain All Over The Head Suddenly?
Hello, I have been feeling dizzy lately. Even though I have already taken headache medicine. What I’m afraid of is that I often have sudden headaches and it only lasts for a few seconds. In the past I have also experienced similar things but lately I have experienced this a lot, it feels like an electric shock even for a moment but I feel sick. What is the solution? Do you think I have regular dizziness or something?
Dizziness and headache are sometimes interpreted the same by some people, even though they have different clinical meanings. If the symptoms you feel are pain in the head, then this condition leads to headaches.
As for headaches, basically the causes can vary, such as:
Tension headaches (tension headaches)
Presence of underlying medical conditions (such as sinusitis, glaucoma, dental infections, brain blood vessel disorders, brain tumors)
The headaches you experience can be normal headaches or be caused by other more serious medical conditions. To be sure you should see a doctor so that it can be examined further. If deemed necessary, the doctor can recommend supporting tests such as a CT scan to investigate the cause further, so that appropriate treatment can be given to you according to the basic condition.
In the meantime, to reduce headaches that arise, the following suggestions are what you can do:
If the pain is bothersome, you can take pain relievers such as paracetamol
Try to eat regularly and don't eat too late so as not to trigger headaches
Increase the consumption of 2-3 liters of water a day
Limit consumption of MSG / monosodium glutamate in foods
Cut back on strenuous activities and don't get too tired
Get enough rest and set enough sleep time for 7-9 hours each night
