Out Of The Water From The Birth Canal Without Accompanied By Uterine Contractions?
Night. I want to ask. Right on Sunday, 10-2-2019, I experienced a fall and as always I checked the USG and the condition was good. But it is recommended to take a break and not have a husband and wife relationship but on the third day from 12-2-2019, i.e. 14-2-2019 I have a marital relationship. Well after that time interval I was walking all of a sudden I was like a person peeing my pants were wet even though I was not tearing to pee. Is that amniotic fluid or what? The color is neutral, does not smell and spots do not come out like that. Please help
Good afternoon, thanks for the question
Complaints about water coming out of the birth canal and without the presence of uterine contractions is a sign of premature rupture of membranes. Premature rupture of membranes is the rupture of the membranes before the onset of labor. The amniotic fluid can be identified by its characteristic which is clear or there are white spots, can be accompanied by blood or mucus, and does not smell.
Risk factors for premature rupture of membranes such as:
3. deformity (breech or transverse)
4. multiple pregnancy
5. disproportion of the head with the mother's pelvis
7. bleeding of the birth canal
If you experience the condition of premature rupture of membranes, the mother must immediately go to the hospital for an examination. To make sure the liquid is correct or not, it is generally checked with litmus paper.
If the pregnancy is over months and there are no contraindications, the doctor will suggest an induction if signs of labor are not available. If there are already signs of infection such as maternal fever, amniotic fluid and odor, and disorders of the placenta eating labor should be hastened to prevent complications in the fetus.
That's all, hope you can help
