Hello
Thanks for the question on HealthReplies.com
Myoma is a growth of tumor cells in or around the uterus that is not malignant. Usually myoma will very rarely cause symptoms so that many women do not realize that they have uterine fibroids. Symptoms that may appear are:
Pain during excessive menstruation Pain in the lower back or lower abdomen Constipation Discomfort during sexual intercourse Miscarriage Ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac that forms in the ovary. For the symptoms that appear are usually almost the same as the symptoms that occur in uterine myoma. And it does require an ultrasound examination to find out more for sure. Because with ultrasound can be known how the shape of the abnormality. Is it filled with liquid or solid.
If indeed you are still unsure about the doctor who has done an ultrasound examination, you should do an examination with another obstetrician to get another opinion. And maybe if necessary, your mother is advised to do blood laboratory tests to check the levels of reproductive hormones in the blood. Or if you are still in doubt, you can try to discuss with the doctor who examined your mother whether a CT scan is needed or not to further support the analysis of possible abnormalities that occur.
That's all the information we can convey. May be useful
