Ovarian Prostheses And Cysts?
Hello, today is my first time to Dr. For promil. Because it has been 10 months after marriage and still not pregnant. so far my menstruation is not smooth During the examination process an ultrasound test is performed. Thank God for a normal uterus, but it turns out that my uterus has a 2 cm diameter cyst. After finishing the diagnosis I was given a prescription for lycosy and provula drugs. With the cyst on my ovary, it made me think. Then I searched the internet about the provula function. It turns out that there is an opinion that says that the provula drug can cause enlargement of ovarian cysts. From here I got more and more confused, on the other hand I promoted but there was an ovarian cyst too. My question is: what is the function of this provula for my current situation, namely promil and there is a cyst. Or should I take this drug or not? Thank you
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Difficulty in having a child can be caused by a variety of factors, from the frequency of irregular sexual intercourse, male fertility disorders, female fertility disorders, or a combination of these. One of the most common causes of fertility problems in women is ovulation disorders, including those experienced in people with ovarian cysts.
An ovarian cyst is a disorder in which the ovaries form a sac filled with fluid originating from the egg follicles that fail to mature completely. Because of the disruption in the egg maturation process, the incoming sperm will find it difficult to meet and fertilize the egg. Ovarian cysts can occur related to hormonal imbalances in the body, one of which can be affected by the consumption of hormonal drugs.
Provula is a type of hormonal drug that has an active ingredient clomiphene citrate. Because of this content, this drug can help deal with complaints related to ovulation disorders, including ovarian cysts, so not the other way around. Consumption of this drug, coupled with antioxidants (including lycost) and lifestyle changes is usually able to control the growth of small cysts (less than 4 cm).
For that, you should take your ovarian cyst treatment according to the instructions of your gynecologist. The doctor who examines you directly will certainly better understand the best therapy tailored to the patient's condition. Optimization of treatment steps from doctors by living a healthy lifestyle, including exercising more diligently once every 1 to 2 days, maintaining ideal body weight, limiting consumption of high-calorie and instant food, multiplying vegetables and fruits, and avoiding cigarettes and alcohol .
Next, do the controls according to the doctor's recommended schedule to monitor the growth of your cyst. Thus, doctors can determine the best pregnancy intervention program to help you and your husband in getting a baby.
Hope it helps ..
