Hello, I want to ask how to heal the bruise on the right eye

1 Answer:

Hi Andreas .. Thanks for the question given.

Bruising to the eye can occur when there is injury or trauma to the eye area. Bruises or in the language is called a hematoma, which is a collection of abnormal blood outside the blood vessels. A sore in the eye area is called a periorbita hematoma. Symptoms that can arise are a reddish or bluish color in the eye area, pain, swelling, and a warm feeling.

Several ways to reduce bruising in the eye include:

Rest the painful part
Compress with a cold towel
Bandage or press on the bruised area to stop bleeding
Place the affected area higher by lying down with the head 30 degrees / with the pillow higher
Avoid further injury
Avoid rubbing the eye area
If the pain continues you can take paracetamol according to the dosage

If the above steps have not been improved, there is visual disturbance, pain in the eyeball. So it's a good idea to see a doctor. The doctor will perform a direct physical examination and examine the eye using an ophthalmoscope (a small flashlight-like device that can see inside the eyeball).
