Hello, Thank you for the question.
Easily waking up at night followed by fear may be a panic attack. A person is said to experience a panic attack if he experiences sudden, high-intensity fear for no apparent reason. This fear is difficult to control and the sufferer can feel shortness of breath, chest pain, palpitations, trembling, dizziness, stomach pain, fainting, excessive sweating, and feel that danger is coming. The exact cause of anic attack is not known with certainty but this condition can occur in people who have heredity, past trauma, high levels of psychological stress, experience major life changes, smoke, or abuse drugs.
Since this complaint has been occurring for 1 month, the best step you can take is to consult a psychiatrist / psychiatrist. In addition to knowing your complaints further, the doctor will also ask about your daily life and your medical history. Your doctor will determine the right treatment for you.
Please do the following suggestions:
manage stress well, do activities that you enjoy doing relaxation breathing techniques before going to bed if a panic attack occurs, try to instill in your mind that what you are feeling or thinking is only in your mind while trying to take a deep breath and let it out slowly avoid consuming caffeinated or alcoholic drinks before bed avoid smoking avoid drug abuse Hope it helps.
