Overcoming Low Sugar Levels But High Cholesterol For Pregnant Women?
I want to ask, I was 31 mg pregnant, this morning when I was walking to the market for shopping, I felt my body suddenly weak, cold sweat coming out, and my eyes were dizzy, like I wanted to pass out. Then I checked that my sugar level was low (64mg / dl), my HB (12.8mg / dl) and my cholesterol was quite high (260mg / dl). What foods can I consume so that all can be normal and not endanger my fetus ?? Thanks.
Hello, Desi Ratna.
Hypoglycemia or low blood sugar levels will usually cause symptoms of weakness, cold sweat, until fainting. Someone is said to be hypoglycemic if his blood sugar level is below 60. While for normal cholesterol levels are below 200, high cholesterol generally does not cause symptoms.
Based on the complaints you feel, it could be caused by low blood sugar levels, or an unhealthy immune system.
Here are some suggestions that you can do to maintain the health of your body, namely:
Get plenty of rest Avoid eating seafood, meat, coconut milk and fatty foods Eat on time Increase fruit and vegetables Drink warm tea if you feel cold sweat and weakness Suffice your fluid needs and should consult a doctor to get the appropriate treatment. If you experience complaints such as severe headaches, vision becomes blurred or complaints do not improve you should immediately see a doctor.
Thank you, hopefully useful.
