Overcoming Sore Throat And Burning Tongue?
Good evening, I am a 22 year old female. I’ve had a sore throat for two days to swallow food and it feels hot like I’ve been exposed to hot water, before I ate spicy and sour and then I started to feel bad in my throat. I also have stomach problems. Then now my voice is getting hoarse, what’s the cure? Thank you
Good afternoon, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. The burning tongue that you complain about actually has a tendency to occur due to rising stomach acid. This is supported by a history of ulcer problems, and a history of consumption of spicy and acidic foods that can worsen ulcer conditions. So the burning and burning sensation that you experience is most likely stomach acid that rises to the tongue. And because the stomach acid also passes through the channel where there are vocal cords, it can also cause hoarseness.
Our advice, you should check with your doctor to get stomach acid-lowering drugs. Meanwhile, avoid consuming spicy, sour and oily foods as well as coconut milk, and avoid delaying eating or eating too much at one time. Expand the consumption of warm water and do not sleep or do too much activity for up to 2 hours after eating. If after doing this you still feel the complaint, then check your condition again to the doctor because there may be other abnormalities that were not detected before. I hope you and your family are always healthy.
That's all, hope it helps.
