Overcoming Spasms Around The Anal Muscle After Hemorrhoid Surgery?
Hello, I have a question. I just had stage 3 hemorrhoid surgery. At that time, I was bleeding until my hb dropped drastically. Finally, I made a decision on hemorrhoid surgery. what I want to ask after post surgery who experience symptoms of spasms around the anal muscle. where suddenly I felt my anus pulled inward very quickly and the effect was painful. and it’s intensity occurs frequently. are these symptoms normal? and how to cure / stop this symptom? please answer my question. before that I thank you.
Hi Jeffry, Thank you for the question.
Hemorrhoids / hemorrhoids are enlargement of the veins on the inside of the anus which causes lumps in the anus to appear. Hemorrhoid surgery will be recommended for patients with hemorrhoids that are not treated with other treatments or hemorrhoids with advanced severity that can only be treated with surgery. Hemorrhoid surgery also varies. In general, after hemorrhoid surgery, local inflammation around the operation area can occur. The presence of inflammation can cause discomfort and pain in the area, maybe this condition is the cause of the complaint you feel. This inflammation will subside slowly over time. You can take paracetamol or other pain relievers given by your doctor and continue to treat the surgical wound recommended by the doctor. If this complaint does not improve after 2 weeks or is accompanied by symptoms of difficult bowel movements, bleeding from the anus, you find pus in the anal area, please consult your surgeon again for further examination and treatment.
Hope this information is helpful.
