, I want to ask, last night around 9 o’clock I practiced futsal, so when I was playing, my right foot hit and slipped on the outside..and now it hurts..and it’s a bit swollen…what solution should I do ? ..thanks
An ankle sprain or sprain will usually cause injury to the surrounding muscles and ligaments. Injuries can be mild or severe. Minor injuries will usually only cause complaints of swelling and a little pain when the leg is moved. Initial treatment is with a cold compress, wrap the leg with an elastic bandage, and rest for a while, about 5-7 days. Pain relievers that are quite safe to take such as acetaminophen may also be needed.
In severe ankle injuries, there are usually tears in the muscles, ligaments, or even disorders of the bones and joints. His complaint is the same as a minor injury but with a more severe level maybe his leg can't even be lifted at all (only falls down). This should immediately consult a doctor. By doing a series of examinations, if necessary x-rays, will be found any abnormalities that occur. Most cases of this serious injury require surgical treatment, such as torn muscle or ligament splicing.
I hope this information is helpful
