Hi Rrarrorre, thanks for the question. Minus eye or myopia is a vision disorder where there is difficulty seeing at a distance. In myopia, there is a disturbance in the focusing of light entering the eye so that light falls in front of the retina (the nerves in the eyeball). Normally, incoming light is focused and falls on the retina. Complaints that usually arise in myopia are:
blurred vision, especially at a distance, double vision, headaches, squinting to get a clearer view. Until now, minus eye can only be overcome by using glasses or contact lenses. Have not found certain drugs to treat minus eye. Surgery is the only way to permanently restore normal vision.
