Pain And Stiffness In The Waist?
Hello .. I am a 19 year old woman .. I often feel low back pain, if I take a long time sitting like a stiff back pain, what is rheumatism? Is it because I often take a shower and wash my hair at night?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Pain and stiffness in the waist does not always mean rheumatism. In young adults like you, more generally this complaint arises due to:
Neurotropic vitamin or mineral deficiency
Lack of exercise
Urinary tract infections or stones
Hormonal fluctuations before menstruation
Ovarian cysts (fluid-filled sacs that form in the ovaries due to failure of egg maturation)
Endometriosis (growth of uterine tissue outside the uterus)
Somatoform disorders, and so on
This complaint, if the appearance is not too frequent, the intensity is mild, and is not accompanied by other severe complaints (for example bowel movements, vomiting, fever, numbness, paralysis, weakness, etc.), often not dangerous. You can resolve the complaint by:
Compress the painful, stiff waist with warm water
Do not carelessly massage the waist area, especially before being declared safe by a doctor
Always wear comfortable clothes and footwear when doing activities
Expand to do stretching sports, such as yoga, swimming, thai chi
Drink a lot, at least 8-10 glasses per day
Don't make it a habit of holding back urination
Do not over-pull or lift heavy loads, go up and down stairs, or bend too long
Apply a pain reliever cream (for example, one containing paracetamol) so that your low back pain decreases
If within 3 days your pain does not improve, or other severe complaints appear as we mentioned above, do not hesitate to check yourself directly to the doctor or neurologist so that an in-depth evaluation is given and the best treatment is yes ..
I hope this helps.
