Pain In The Area Of the Fracture Operation?
hi doctor, this month entered my second month using a stick after fracture of the thigh bone and surgery to iron him. My question is, was there during the healing process entering the second month, the pain was too painful on the part to break a habit or was there a possibility that the iron in my thighbone was bent or maybe my thighbone was fractured originally? I often feel sick, whereas next week my doctor will confirm whether I can walk or not. please explain.
Hi Azza, Thank you for the question.
After fracture surgery, the patient will usually experience pain in the surgical scar which will decrease over time. If you still have pain in the area of the operation, this could be caused by:
infectious muscle pain in the surgical wound infection in the bone fracture back; the complete bone healing process can take up to 3 months. During this healing process, if you have used a broken bone to walk or hold the weight of your body, not according to the doctor's recommendation, the bone that has been accommodated with a plate can break again. To ascertain the cause of your complaint, an examination by a doctor is needed. In the meantime, you can do a warm compress or take paracetamol to relieve pain. Please consult your orthopedic specialist for further examination. The doctor may do an X-ray or ultrasound to find out the cause and then determine the next treatment. Don't walk on that foot if your doctor hasn't recommended it.
