Pain in the lower limbs, from the groin to the calves, the possible cause can come from disorders of its components, such as skin, muscles, bones, joints, or it can also come from disorders of other areas of the body but cause complaints in the lower limbs.
Here are some possible causes for the pain you are experiencing:
Pinched spinal nerves Myalgia (muscle pain) Vitamin B1, B6, or B12 deficiency Calcium, potassium, or magnesium deficiency Peripheral neuropathy (damage to the peripheral nerves), eg in people with diabetes Deep vein thrombosis (blood clots in the deep veins) Peripheral arterial disease (narrowing of the arteries supplying the lower limbs) Arthritis (arthritis), eg due to rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis Skin infections of the lower limbs, eg due to folliculitis, cellulitis, Herpes zoster Dislocation (shifting) of joints Viral or bacterial infections, eg dengue fever, chikungunya , leptospirosis, and so on. Generally, the possible causes of pain can be evaluated by in-depth interviews regarding the characteristics of the pain, namely when it occurs, what aggravates and relieves it, and is there a history of certain illnesses that may be related to the pain. In addition, a thorough physical examination and supporting tests, such as laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, and so on may also be needed to determine the best treatment. So, don't hesitate to go to the doctor for a checkup.
In the meantime, you can manage your pain through taking pain relievers, such as paracetamol. Also compress your sore lower limbs using warm water while elevating them and resting them from activities that are too strenuous. Use comfortable pants and footwear in the activity. Maintain your ideal body weight and eat a balanced diet.
Hope it helps ya..
