Pain In The Lower Part Of The Eyelid.
The bottom of my eyelids have something red or blood-like red and red like a thread, it feels a little lump in the eyes. That’s why, doc? Please help.
Thank you for the question.
The appearance of reddish spots resembling threads and blood that feels lumps under the eyelids may be caused by dilation of blood vessels (telangiectasia). Frequently, this condition occurs when the eyes become inflamed, for example due to allergies, irritation, exposure to dry air or sunlight, and even infection. It could also be, conditions that occur under your eyelids arise due to other causes, for example trichiasis, entropion, ectropion, blepharitis, subconjunctival bleeding, benign or malignant tumors, kalazion, hordeolum, obstruction of the tear glands, asthenopia (tired eyes), conjunctivitis, uveitis, keratitis, hemangiomas, benign or malignant tumors, contact dermatitis, and so on.
Unfortunately, we didn't check you in right away. Therefore, it is difficult for us to ascertain the exact cause of your complaint.
Our advice, if this is the only complaint you experience, without severe pain, swelling, vision problems, or other severe complaints, then you should not panic. Make your complaints first by:
Cold compress your eyes
Keep your eyes clean, don't conquer foreign objects
Avoid exposing your eyes to dry air and excessive sunlight
Don't stay up late or look at gadgets excessively
Do not carelessly use contact lenses, eye drops, or cosmetics around the eyes
Drop artificial tears so the eyes are calmer and more comfortable
However, if after a long time your complaint does not improve, or if there are signs of danger as we have mentioned above, it is better to check yourself directly to the doctor or ophthalmologist so that it is handled properly according to the underlying cause.
I hope this helps.
