Pain In The Palate Accompanied By Pain When Swallowing?
Good afternoon ALODOKTERSy women aged 30 years. These two days (from 20 December to 21 December 2019) I feel pain in the roof of my mouth, when pressed / touched (when swallowing so) it hurts to the right ear and throat. just a common cold, but what I feel is I don’t have the flu and the medicine is only given by Profen and Paracetamol. Estimated what doctor is sick and what is the right medicine, thank you.
Good evening, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. We understand your feelings. Complaints about the palate of pain are not quite common complaints, so it's understandable if the flu is one of the first considerations your doctor thinks. But besides the flu, there are also other possibilities, such as:
Allergy due to something you eat
Abscess or buildup of pus in the oral cavity
Viral or bacterial infections
So far, your steps have been right by seeing a doctor, but it is not always that the disease can be immediately resolved and fully handled at the first examination. Sometimes it takes time and a few meetings. So if you feel the complaints have not diminished even though the medicine is about to run out, check yourself to the doctor to evaluate his condition or may go directly to the ENT doctor if previously still new to a general practitioner. Handling that you will receive later will be adjusted again with the results of the inspection.
In the meantime, limit your speaking, don't trigger pain by emphasizing the painful part, consuming soft foods like porridge, multiplying the consumption of warm drinks, taking medicine regularly, and immediately consult a doctor. So, hopefully answering your question.
