Pain In The Right Throat?
Good evening, I’m Eriska, 21 years old. I have a sore throat on the right with chest pain, dizziness and pain when swallowing. When swallowing like something stuck in the neck. Right neck when moved pain. What does this hurt? Is it because of gastric acid because I like coffee or something. Thank you in advance.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Pain in the throat can be caused by several possibilities, including:
inflammation of the pharynx or tonsils (pharyngitis or tonsillitis), can be caused due to allergies, irritation (eg inhalation of certain chemicals, cigarette smoke, excessive air pollution), or infection
abscess behind the pharynx
a foreign object caught in the throat (for example, you accidentally swallow a fish thorn)
In cases like yours, you should first have a throat check directly. You can check yourself directly to the ENT doctor for a more in-depth examination.
The following are some things you can do:
try eating foods that are soft and easy to swallow for a while
avoid foods that can irritate the throat further such as foods that are too spicy and too acidic
drink in sufficient quantities every day (minimum of 2-3 liters a day)
gargle with salt water to help reduce sore throat
if pain is very annoying, especially if you are not feeling well, you can take medications such as paracetamol to help reduce symptoms
If you experience difficulty breathing, you see that your tonsils / tonsils are very swollen, there is a white or gray coating on your throat, go to the doctor immediately and do not delay.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
