Hello. Thank you for the question submitted to HealthReplies.com. We can understand the concern you feel.

Masturbation is intentional sexual stimulation of the genitals with the aim of gaining sexual satisfaction. Masturbation is not wise and you are advised to avoid this habit.

The main impact of masturbation habits is psychological disorders. Patients who have a habit of masturbation tend to constantly have thoughts to repeat masturbation. As a result, patients can experience stress, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, difficulty concentrating and carrying out daily activities, and sleep disorders. In addition, the habit of masturbation is also physically risky because it can cause injury to the genitals which ultimately increases the risk of urinary tract infections and reproductive tract. The risk is higher if the object used for masturbation is not hygienic. Do not rule out the possibility that pain around the vagina and pelvis that you experience occurs because of sores and infections that may be triggered by masturbation habits. You are advised to see a doctor if these symptoms persist and are felt to be so disturbing.

As a suggestion, to minimize your masturbation habits, you should take the following steps:

Exercise regularly
Doing hobbies in the form of positive activities
Increase the activity of worship, for example: fasting

Do not hesitate to consult with a doctor or psychiatric specialist if you experience obstacles to avoid these imprudent habits. Thus information from us. Hopefully always healthy. May be useful.
