Hi Rasha,
thanks for asking HealthReplies.com.
There are many possible causes for pulling and pain starting from the shoulder, neck, to the left chest. If the complaints are severe and cause coughing when you bend down and feel uncomfortable when breathing, then this condition could be related to disorders of the respiratory tract, for example because:
Brochitis (inflammation of the airways leading to the lungs) Pneumothorax (trapping of air in the cavity between the lung membranes) Pleuritis (inflammation of the lining of the lungs) Pneumonia (inflammation of the lung parenchyma) Pleural effusion (seepage of fluid into the cavity between the lung membranes), and so on. It is also possible that the complaints you are experiencing are caused by disorders of other organ systems, such as angina pectoris, pericarditis, scoliosis, myalgia, GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), and so on.
A physical examination by a doctor is necessary to evaluate where exactly the trigger for the complaints you are experiencing is coming from. In some conditions that are suspected of being severe, further tests, such as laboratory, heart records (EKG), X-rays, or maybe ultrasound may also be recommended by the doctor. Furthermore, the treatment will be adjusted according to the cause of your complaint. However, at home, you can first take the steps below to minimize your complaints:
Compress the uncomfortable shoulder, neck, and chest area using a warm compress. Limit staying in positions that make you uncomfortable, such as bending over for too long or sleeping on the side that hurts Calm yourself, don't worry too much Regular exercise Eat regularly, don't eat after meals lie down immediately. Eat less spicy food, coconut milk, and caffeine. Sleep regularly. Use a mask when in a polluted environment. Hope this helps..
