Pain When Not Doing Activities?
Hello,. For the past few months my left shoulder has ached. It hurts when I’m not doing any activity (when I’m on the move I don’t feel the pain). The pain is only on the left side, from the shoulder radiating to the back and hands. What diseases and how are they treated? thank you
Hello Arsy, Thank you for the question.
Various health conditions can cause shoulder pain symptoms such as:
frozen shoulder rotator cuff tendinitis bursitis cervical radiculopathy muscle injury which can be caused by narrowing of the spine in the neck area or a herniated nucleus pulposus / HNP in the neck area. Please consult your doctor directly first to determine the cause. The doctor needs to ask you questions and answers regarding this complaint and examine your shoulder. Then the doctor will carry out further tests such as X-rays, ultrasound, or MRI to find the cause. From this examination the doctor will determine the next treatment for you. You can try applying warm compresses to the affected area or taking paracetamol if your shoulder pain is bothersome. Avoid excessive activity that involves shoulder movements.
Hope this information is helpful.
