Thank you for the question on HealthReplies.com,
In treating torn skin sores, please note that there is tissue damage in the area. If the wound is large and deep enough, it can damage the skin area containing the ends of nerve fibers, so that it will feel painful. The wound healing process takes time depending on the size and depth of the wound. In treatment, maintaining wound hygiene is important to avoid infection of the wound. Pain in the treatment of torn wounds cannot be avoided until the tissue returns to intact, to reduce pain when changing bandages can be done slowly, may be flowed with sterile NaCl or other sterile liquid. If closed using gauze will usually stick, and it will cause pain when pulled.
If the wound is felt more painful, red, swollen, or discharge or pus from the wound, it is advisable to seek treatment and consult a doctor at the nearest health facility to get further examination and management.
