Because I checked with a gynecologist, not a doctor in internal medicine, and he also only guessed it can’t be sure. Thanks HealthReplies.com
Good evening Lisa, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. We understand your concern. Complaints of urinary pain, lower abdominal pain, and increased frequency of urination are indeed symptoms that are quite typical in urinary tract infections / UTI. And to be able to diagnose you with this condition, you don't need the role of an internist, because even a general practitioner can diagnose this disease.
This is supported also by UTI which is quite common in women because of its shorter urinary tract than men. So it is very possible that you have a UTI. And if you really experience a UTI, the medicine is as you mentioned. The problem is, usually the diagnosis of UTI is also accompanied by a urine test or test. If you have not undergone the test and you are still unsure of your doctor's decision, you can consult a doctor of internal medicine to determine the condition and determine the best treatment. Your doctor will see if you really have a UTI or sexually transmitted disease, urinary tract stones, or kidney infection.
Meanwhile, multiply the consumption of water, do not hold back the urge to urinate, avoid sexual intercourse first, keep the genitals clean, and immediately consult a doctor. So, hopefully answering your question.
