Good afternoon, thanks for the question
Previously, what we need to say is that the terms "stomach ulcers and stomach acid" have the same meaning. Both mean that there is irritation in the gastric mucosa which then causes symptoms such as pain in the pit of the stomach (under the middle of the chest), bloating, nausea, vomiting, etc.
Gastric mucosal irritation or in medical terms called gastritis can be caused by the following conditions:
1. Poor eating patterns such as late eating, spicy foods, large portions of food, too sour, fizzy, or bersantan food.
2. Drink coffee and tea often.
3. Bacterial or parasitic infections.
4. Long-term use of analgesic drugs and steroids.
5. Smoking and alcohol consumption.
6. Psychic stress.
7. Poor hygiene and sanitation such as not washing hands before eating and after going to the bathroom, food is not washed clean and not cooked until cooked.
Gastric acid disorders accompanied by symptoms of heartburn and burning in the chest or a sensation of tightness are generally caused by the condition Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). GERD is reflux or backflow of stomach acid through the valve to the esophagus that is not functioning normally. GERD causes irritation not only in the gastric mucosa but also in the esophageal mucosa.
To reduce complaints, it is necessary to avoid the causes above and it is recommended to sleep at least after 2 to 4 hours after food, eat small portions and reduce fatty foods. Then need to be given treatment to suppress the production of stomach acid based on doctor's prescription in a certain period. Carry out further examinations with your doctor for adequate treatment.
That's all, hope you can help
Wassalam
