Your symptoms may be your body's normal response to stress or be caused by panic attacks. The body has a fight or flight response or defense or fight response to external threats in your case of psychological stress. This response is formed due to the activation of the nervous system and endocrine which causes a number of symptoms such as palpitations, difficulty breathing, suffocation, nausea. abdominal pain, dizziness, or trembling. However, if you experience excessive fear of the stressor then this might just be a panic attack. After a panic attack, sufferers can experience fatigue. Sufferers can also feel fear that similar symptoms will reoccur. In addition to high stress levels, a person's risk of experiencing panic attacks can also occur if the person has genetic / hereditary factors, experienced a traumatic event in the past, consumed caffeinated or alcoholic drinks, drug abuse.
