Phlegm Cough And Runny Nose Do Not Heal, Is It Affected By COVID-19?
I cough up phlegm for about 3 months, but without fever. I have a cold every morning and sneeze every time I wake up from sleep, and if I go back to sleep when I wake up I can catch a cold and sneeze dozens of times. My questions: 1. Can someone get Covid19 and coughs like a cold but I don’t have a fever, and some times I feel the symptoms of canker sores but not until it happens because I immediately consume vit.C2. I went to the doctor and was sentenced to cough allergy, given drugs and antibiotics 5 pieces but how come it doesn’t heal? What should I do because at night my chest feels like there is a lot of phlegm asking to be expelled … thank you
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
COVID-19 is a respiratory infection caused by a new type of Corona virus. This disease is characterized by symptoms of airways from mild to severe. Symptoms as you experience it may be an allergic disease that is accompanied by this disease. Of course to prove it needs further medical interviews, a thorough physical examination directly and supporting examinations if necessary. For that, you should consult with your nearest doctor.
Besides being a symptom of COVID-19, complaints of respiratory problems that you experience can also be caused by allergic reactions and or bacterial infections. If there is a bacterial infection, antibiotics are the right thing to do. Antibiotics should be taken regularly according to the doctor's prescription.
So that your complaints can improve, pay attention to things that trigger allergies, such as house dust. This is because the main treatment of allergies is to avoid triggers, besides taking antibiotics regularly (to treat respiratory infections due to bacteria that accompany allergic reactions).
Therefore, regularly clean the house to a part that is rarely reached. Use a mask until the complaint improves.
Thus hopefully useful.
